Why the Portal?
Many efforts are underway, working to engage Alaskans to prepare for jobs. There is a lot of information with websites to wade through.
Alaska Pathways provides a portal that provides one-stop and centralized access to the wealth of resources available from our communities, state and local government, and the commercial and academic sectors.
The Alaska Pathways portal is intended to support and strengthen the efforts of these other organizations that providing education and training funding, and internships and other job-related experiences.
Alaska Pathways for a DIGITAL ECONOMY provides a comprehensive resource to position Alaska’s workforce for good jobs and lifelong careers in today’s DIGITAL ECONOMY. The Alaska Pathways for a DIGITAL ECONOMY Portal is the best resource for information on training and education, funding resources, internships, apprenticeships, and entry-level jobs.
How is the information maintained?
Kathy Mayo + Associates works to keep information current and adding information and resources that are most relevant to you.
We are actively engaged with community leaders, our university and local school systems, and the commercial sector to discover and share the latest and most relevant resources here on the Alaska Pathways Portal.

Kathy Mayo + Associates.
Kathy Mayo has over 35 years of experience in successfully building programs linking Alaskans to successful careers through education, training, and internships. Kathy and her team are passionate about Alaskans, our communities, our state, our culture, our climate, our well being, and our economic strength.
Kathy Mayo served as the first Executive Director of the Doyon Foundation and was the first program manager for the Alaska Native Program at Alyeska Pipeline.
Both programs are strong institutions resulting in good jobs and lasting careers. Kathy and her team’s passion for the state are rooted in her connections to the community and in the positions in which she has served.
