A number of major infrastructure and development projects are planned, or are already underway, across the state of Alaska. Some of these projects will be sustained multi-year activities during development. These projects will generate jobs during the planning and construction phases, with jobs continuing into the operational phase that in many cases will continue indefinitely.

A broad range of professional technology and trade skills will be needed to deliver these projects. Major projects span the energy, mining, transportation, building construction, and other sectors.
